|Printing Tips||SCREEN PRINTING METHOD Screen printing is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed. One colour is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multicoloured image or design. The screen printing method is used for printing logos or designs where colours are countable. This printing method holds good on the fabric and is durable for a longer period. We use a special elastic rubbery ink where the print doesn't break upon stretching the fabric. For a multicolour image, it is always recommended to choose digital printing. Artwork setup cost for screen printing per side is 30 Rs, if the printing is on two sides, it will be 60 Rs, if the printing is on 3 sides, it will be 90 Rs. This cost is irrespective of the quantity and the one time cost to develop the screen. Printing cost varies on quantities and on the number of colours used for printing. Our algorithm automatically detects the number of colours and varies the printing cost accordingly. DIGITAL PRINTING METHOD ON APPARELS The digital printing method is a DIRECT TO GARMENT printing which is printed by using DTG machine printers. Here the T-shirt/apparel will be directly placed into the DTG machine for printing the RGB colours directly. Any photo image or multicolour images on the apparels can be printed. Best suited only in case the image has more than 10 colours to print. If the colours are countable and are less in number, it is recommended use screen printing as the print looks brighter and better. Artwork setup cost for screen printing per side is 50 Rs, if the printing is on two sides, it will be 100 Rs, if the printing is on 3 sides, it will be 150 Rs. This cost is irrespective of the quantity and the one time cost to develop the screen. Printing cost varies on quantities and on the size of the printing. Our algorithm automatically detects the size and varies the printing cost accordingly.|
